Description

Starts the scanning process and turns on kiosk illumination. When a barcode is successfully scanned, the scanCallback configured in AilaConfiguration will be invoked.

In mobile applications, scanning should not be enabled for extended periods of time, as the additional CPU usage will affect battery life. Additionally, the Mobile Imager (legacy) is not designed to provide continuous illumination.
